Greetings from me to you!
I’m sure you are in the throws of making everything merry and bright as Christmas is just a week away. Is it me or does it come quicker and quicker?? There are still cookies to bake and presents to wrap.
I did finish my Christmas knitting last night and was thrilled when it came off my needles. Are you giving knits for Christmas? If so, what? It’s fun to watch all the different hat and mitten people start loving on Ravelry and even more fun to see the weights of yarns change from fingering to super bulky as it nears closer. It always gives me a giggle because we’ve all been there. In your mind you have TONS of time and then whack, someone gets sick or you get sick and it all comes to a screeching halt. Other than hubby falling on the black ice yesterday, all is well here……..I am sure I just cursed myself but whatever.
We will leave here the day after Christmas and head north to MA to be with our families and continue the merry and bright with them. We will be driving so lots of knitting time and I’m ahead on the planning of that too….who am I…? I’m never this organized. After the year I’ve had, if someone above is cutting me some slack I’ll take it.
I may not get back before Christmas and I wanted to take this moment to wish you all the happiest of holidays. Be good to one another and treasure every moment.
Merry Christmas ~ Michele
