I sit and and can’t believe that 2015 is coming to an end. It was a wild ride in more ways than one.
My blogging wasn’t my best and I blame grief for that.
Business was great with new opportunities presenting themselves. I am always grateful to meet knitters and crocheters and share out love of wool.
My family has kept me busy. But without them I would be lost.
I even did an original design this year.
I look at everyday as a blessing and I’ve had many.
I hope this New Year’s eve finds you well and happy.
I will see you in 2016.
PS: Yankee Dyer Yarns is having a sale. Code is NEWYEAR for 25% off.
Greetings to you this Christmas Eve. The weather here is positively balmy and unnatural, but the silver lining is saving on the heating bill.
First and for most I would like to wish you all the very happiest of holidays, however you choose to celebrate. Our Christmas eve dinner was a homemade lasagna and salad and our lovely neighbor Linda joined us because I can’t stand the thought of anyone being alone.
I have finished quite a number of knitting accessories including the baby sweater which was gifted to the wee one for Christmas. I’ll give you all the links at the end of the photo parade.
Yes, I’ve been busy. Here are the links:
Pattern: Baked Clay by Alicia Plummer
Pattern: Cote-Nord Cap by Amy Christoffers
Pattern: Antiquity by Alicia Plummer
Pattern: Baby Wrap Sweater by Churchmouse Yarns
Pattern: Jolly Wee Elf by Churchmouse Yarns
I did the Elf on a whim and it brought me tremendous joy. All yarns are by Yankee Dyer Yarns with exception of the elf.
I hope that you have fun with family and friends over the next few days.
This actually took place on Monday because it was my Aunts birthday. I gave her my prize winning Sierra Lupine. I realized that it was perfect for her and she’s totally knit worthy.
She was completely blown away and the gift of giving always feels wonderful!
My wish is that she wear it in good health but send it back for a wash and re-block.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a full house and great times.
The next few week are busy with school concerts and Christmas preparations.
I’ll be back soon!
